Natural Nick's Produce is a small, family-owned urban farm located in the suburbs of Washington, DC.  Natural Nick's began in 1952 and has always raised naturally grown vegetables and fruits.  Natural Nick's practices only organic and sustainable methods.  Natural Nick's uses only organic seed stock and organic fertilizers, "As nature intended."

Natural Nick's Baklava Alexandra

This is an *authentic* Greek recipe that dates back many generations. Only top quality traditional, natural and organic ingredients are used such as, Imported Greek Honey and Filo Dough that is fresh, *never* frozen, from the Greek section of New York City known as Astoria. The filling is of top quality Walnut and Almond.

Baklava has it's origins from Turkey and Greece dating back to the Mid 17th Century.  Natural Nick's Baklava Alexandra is a *true* Greek Baklava. The only corners that are cut are to make the traditional triangular shape.

Natural Nick's Amaretti Angelina

Natural Nick's Amaretti Angelina is a traditional Italian treat which is my Mother, Angelina's favorite. A family recipe that dates back to the 1940's, Amaretti Angelina is similar to a macaroon with a rich almond flavor and not as sweet as a Macaroon.  Amaretti Angelina is Gluten Free, all natural and made with organic ingredients, Almond Flour, Eggs, Sugar, Amaretto Liqueur and Pure Vanilla.

Amaretti Angelina is an *authentic* Italian trattareThe traditional name is Amaretti di Saronno, that has its origins in the early 18th Century in Saronno, Italy.  Enjoy this Amaretti with your favorite expresso, cappuccino, coffee or tea.

Natural Nick's Biscotti Antoinetta

This is the Biscotti recipe of my Paternal Grandmother, Antoinetta. This recipe dates back to the late 1800's. Biscotti Antoinetta is all natural and uses only Almond, Anisette and Anise Seed, no extracts.

Store bought and mass produced Biscotti are machine made. Natural Nick's Biscotti Antoinetta is only hand-made, using only the finest organic ingredients.

Biscotti Antoinetta is an *authentic* traditional Italian Biscotti, perfect for dunking in your favorite espresso, cappuccino, coffee or tea.

Natural Nick's Cafe Domenico

Natural Nick's Cafe Domenico is the perfect start to your day or the finishing touch to a delicious meal. Cafe Domenico is a custom blended coffee locally roasted in Baltimore, Maryland.

This custom blend was first developed by Natural Nick in 1989. Cafe Domenico is a superbly balanced blend of premium French Roast & Colombian coffees, modestly flavored with a custom blend of only the natural oils of Hazelnut, Chocolate, Almond and Raspberry. Perfectly roasted, low acidic, rich and delicious.

The grind is very fine and suitable for use in a drip coffee maker as well as an espresso maker. The grind of Cafe Domenico is too fine for a French Press.

Natural Nick's Pickled Garlic

A delicious start to any meal, Natural Nick's Pickled Garlic is an Anti Pasto made with Natural Nick's Heirloom Basil, Oregano, Crushed Red Pepper in a pickling brine.

This pickled garlic is a perfect addition to an Antipasto setting, an addition to salads, vegetable salads or as a delicious and healthy offering with bread, cheese and your favorite wine.

Natural Nick's Garlic Anti Pasto

A delicious start to any meal, Natural Nick's Garlic Anti Pasto is made with Natural Nick's Heirloom Garlic, Sweet Red Pepper, Purple Onion, Sauvignon Blanc, Basil, Oregano, Extra Virgin Olive Oil & a hint of Crushed Red Pepper.

This colorful Anti Pasto is a perfect addition to an appetizer setting, an addition to salads, vegetable salads or as a delicious and healthy offering with bread, cheese and your favorite wine.

Natural Nick's Jalapeno Sauce

A full flavored aged Jalapeno Sauce.  This is my Father's recipe dating back over 40 years, to 1972.  Made with fully ripened Jalapenos with a rich red color, Natural Nick's Garlic and pickling bring.

Natural Nick's Jalapeno Hot Sauce may be used during the cooking process or added directly to the dish of your choice.

Natural Nick's Jalapeno Hot Sauce is an excellent addition to Vegetables, Meats, Soups, Stews, Chile, Guacamole as well as other dips, marinades and sauces.

he recipe of my Mother (Angelina) that dates back to the 1930's and made with only the finest natural and organic ingredients. Crushed Tomato, Diced Tomato, Tomato Paste, Natural Nick's Heirloom Garlic, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Basil, Oregano, Crushed Red Pepper, Fresh Lemon Juice, Fennel and Natural Sea Salt.

Natural Nick's Basil Tomato Sauce is made the very same way my Mother made it.  This time honored tradition that produces a rich, fresh flavor with approximately 234mg of sodium per 4 ounce serving.  This is more than 50% less Sodium per serving than many commercial tomato sauces!

.Natural Nick's Fruit Conserve

Fruit "Conserve" is a centuries old method for preserving fruit. Known as Conserve in England and Western Europe, also known as Varenye throughout Eastern Europe and Russia.

After World War 2, Pectin came into wide use in Jams, Jellies and Preserves. Pectin is a thickening agent commonly made from apples and has a neutral taste. This detracts from the potential full/big fruit flavor. True Fruit Conserve is made with only fruit, sugar, fresh lemon juice and the pith of the Lemon.

Use of the pith from citrus (such as lemon) is far superior to powdered pectin. The citrus pith greatly enhances the fruit flavor and adds natural vitamin C.

Proper cooking extracts the natural pectin in the fruit and lemon pith, which then thickens naturally. Conserve is not as stiff as modern jams, jellies and preserves.

Natural Nick's Conserve flavors are available as Adriano Fig Conserve, Blackberry Conserve, Strawberry Conserve and Threeberry Conserve, which is a combination of Blackberry, Blueberry and Raspberry.

Natural Nick's Fruit Conserve has a big fruit flavor and is delicious when spooned over Yogurt, Ice Cream, Pancakes or Waffles.  Also an excellent base for a fruit flavored vinaigrette.  Mix Natural Nick's Fruit Conserves in Smoothies or make Nick's Nectar, a very refreshing Summertime or anytime drink.

Although the name Tapenade is French, recipes for Tapenade date back to Ancient Rome and is Italian in origin.

Natural Nick's Tapenade Italiano uses one of Sicily's best Olives, Greek Kalamata Olives, Sun Dried Tomatoes from Italy and Fresh Garlic.  Natural Nick's Tapenade Italiano also contains Extra Virgin Olive Oil infused wih Fresh Lemon Juice, Fresh Lemon Zest, Balsamic Vinegar, Basil, Oregano and a touch of Crushed Red Pepper.

Natural Nick's Tapenade Italiano is a perfect addition to any Anti-Pasto.  Enjoy it on Crostini with cheese, with a dry red wine or use it as part of a Vinaigrette.

Natural Nick's Tapenade Italiano is excellent as a topping on steamed, baked or grilled vegetable, such as Asparagus or Broccoli.  It is also excellent as a topping for baked fish such as Red Snapper, Salmon or Tilapia.

Natural Nick's L'Erba Italiano

"L'Erba Italiano" is a blended Italian Seasoning by Natural Nick's Produce.

Most commercial spice blends contain an enormous amount of Sodium. This is extremely unhealthy and limiting, in that you do not have control of the salt content in your preparations.

Natural Nick has blended spices typical of fine Italian Cuisine, using NO salt. This gives the Chef complete control of how much salt to use in the preparation of a dish. Resulting in a balanced authentic Italian seasoning, which you may use liberally to your taste.

This exceptional blend of top quality Organic spices is best when used during the marinating or cooking process of Vegetables, Meats, Stews, Soups, Sauces, Bruschetta or as a Pizza seasoning prior to baking.

Infused with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and salt to your taste will produce an excellent dipping oil or as a seasoning for Croutons or Crostini topped with your choice of antipasto.

Natural Nick's Born On The Bayou

"Born On The Bayou" is a Cajun Seasoning by Natural Nick's Produce.

Many years ago, Natural Nick grew disheartened with the enormous sodium content in most blackening spices. We set out to blend our own blackening spice blend that would have a big flavor without the excessive amount of sodium found on store shelves. The result is a balanced blend of spices typical of Cajun Cuisine, with a medium amount of "heat", that can be used liberally to your taste.

Many commercial blackening spice blends contain between 100 and 300mg of Sodium per 1/4 teaspoon! Commercial brands are mostly salt! Natural Nick's Born On The Bayou seasoning contains less than 13mg of sodium per serving!

This savory blend is not only excellent on seafood and meats but also makes an excellent seasoning for many vegetables. Use Born On The Bayou as a topping on burgers, appetizers, blended into sour cream, cream cheese or hummus spreads. Use as a Chili spice or added zest to soup and stew. Born On The Bayou is an excellent addition when sprinkled onto sandwiches and as a finish your Deviled Eggs instead of Paprika.
